Twitter growing methods?

I currently run a Twitter account with over 85k followers with 52k following. For the last 2 years or so, I've been growing it using the "following/unfollowing" method, one of the oldest in the book. Recently, if I follow ~150 - bam, tweets ghosted along with all notifications of me following.

In terms of application, I've tried Massplanner, FollowLiker, ManageFlitter, Statusbrew and a Google Chrome extension - none of which resolve my issue.

Anyone else got any idea?

Define 'Ghosted' ?

Do you mean now, when you follow ~ 150 new accounts hoping for followbacks, that all your recent tweets/follows/likes/etc (basic account activity) simply revert to the state before you added the most recent 150 follows?
 
What he meant is that if you follow someone, he/she doesn't get any notification and tweets are getting ghosted from Twitter search, even if you put hashtags in your tweets, they won't come up in the search, only your followers see the tweets and those who check your profile.

As in when I follow, they don't get a notification I followed them, if I like their tweets (etc).
 
Ah, gotcha.

How are you confirming they aren't getting any notifications?
 
IDK Google+ has done that to me in the past though. didn't take down any old posts or ban the account, but all new posts would disappear and follows as well.
 
I am currently in deep with this problem. Ghosting is real and it's happened to all 500 of my twitter accounts. I follow 1000 people a day with maybe 250 of those accounts and NOT A SINGLE person gets a notification that I've followed them. If anybody could pm or reply to me on here on how to fix all of my accounts I'll give you my method on how I was able to make 200-300 dollars a day BEFORE getting ghosted with 300 accounts. I'm making around 30 dollars a day with 500 ghosted accounts, assuming that most of my money comes from people noticing the number change in their follow list, as they never get a notification when I follow them. I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys. Thanks.

I have the problem that i CANT follow much people. I use mp added 200+ accounts where i follow active people who likes/retweet.
Some accounts follows 300 a day and most accounts 5 or 10.
Tryed everthing makes me crazy

Do any of your accounts have fake followers? I don't know if the rules changed but back then if you had at least 5k followers on your twitter account, you can follow 1k people a day. But, you might get ghosted for doing that but I'm still trying to find a fix I'll let you know if I come across one.
