Twitter Gods, what would you do with a $5k budget?

So I'm working on an independent movie with a small budget and I'm looking for some people who will help create a serious twitter buzz.

If you have any ideas (Twitter Only as we're sorted for Youtube and Facebook) and have the ability to implement them I'd love to hear from you - think of the opening weekend, the more successful it is the more theaters will take it on in the next weeks.

When are you releasing the film? You should probably start building followers now (if you havnt already?) do it yourself (tweetadder or similar) or out-source.

Then nearer the time maybe tweet out either an offer - something free / half price tickets if you retweet? Or a prize draw - premier tickets or something?

I know that's basic stuff, but thought I'd post since nobody else has yet!!

Get tweet attacks, create hundreds of accounts daily, have each follow 1000 people a day and then have these accounts tweet about your movie with hash tags

Thanks guys. Yes we have tweet Atacks and are building accounts. Maybe we can step that up a bit.

I was thinking along the lines of gaming Twitter trending topics. Any thoughts on that?

I built my site (that's in my sig) with this method and did nearly 50,000 tweets in a short amount of time....

In less than 48 hours from starting the site I had gotten into the top ten for my keyword. Twitter should be the lead dog in getting your site out there
