If I organize giveaways on my Twitter account and ask people to retweet, tag few friends and also be sure to give me a follow, would get me into trouble? Are the giveaways permitted on Twitter or what are the risks of getting my account banned/locked/deleted? There is any turnaround if giveaways are forbidden?

There are thousands of accounts that do this. You are fine.

I heard that incentivizing follows is forbidden by Twitter rules. Is that true? I don't want to take any risks. I also heard some of the guys organizing giveaways frequently on their page were banned from Twitter, so...Idk what to believe.

That's interesting. I have the same question because I have seen recently many accounts banned which had run these kind of giveaways. I was on some big accounts doing a "retweet+follow to participate in a $50 giveaway" and similar and when I clicked on the accounts which users should follow, the accounts were banned.

But maybe these were "scam" giveaways from big accounts who only use bots for engagement so if you gain thousands of followers within a few hours and 90% are bots, maybe you get banned then.

But would like to know if others have more experience and knowledge about this?

There are many twitter users doing this already for years so you are safe. If you spam as comments on reputed profiles, you may get noticed.

The account might have been flagged based on scam, because Twitter allows giveaways.

Are the giveaways genuine or fake?

You are not going to be banned for doing giveaways. There are people like Mr beast who made their careers by doing giveaways only.

There are many people who do the same thing for a long time and I have never heard that anyone ever had problems because of this. You can try it, it is a safe and good method.

naah you are ok, that is normal on twitter, many friend tagg me on my personal account to participate on those giveaways so you are fine.
