Twitter- "For Security Purposes, Your Account Has Been Locked"

    Hey guys,

    I have owned Twitter accounts in the past but have recently started over with a few fitness accounts, however on ALL accounts usually daily I get this message. It instructs me to change my password, which I do, and after another day or so, it comes back up. I'm almost convinced that it isn't somebody trying to steal my accounts or anything else like that going on as I've changed the password numerous times with advanced letters, capitals and numbers. It's quite annoying as when the account is locked, my automated tweets will no longer post. I have a few third parties that have access to my account such as Buffer and Manageflitter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    same happening to me are you following people at all from those accounts?

    same here... gets annoying having to check on your accounts to make sure that they arent being locked...

    ok so we need to know whats causing our accounts to become locked. i think its from following people but im not positive.

    Twitter wrote about it on their blog. It's their new security measure.

    Now that I realize it's not just me lol, it has to be one of the third party applications. I'm assuming Manageflitter or maybe Buffer or any other auto tweet/follow program

    Your sharing tweet URL has been SPAM only. You can change Third parties pass too.

    That's why you're getting error from Twitter.

    I don't use proxies and don't use third party apps to tweet. I only follow other users. This has gotten my account locked numerous times. So, I think it has to do with the activity on your Twitter account.
