All of my past years experience of traffic sources are with SEO and Facebook, but now that Facebook is a waste of time and I can't get any exposure without paying for it, I'm going to focus on Twitter and G+. Problem is, I know nothing about the ins and outs cause I have no experience yet.

Anyway, just got my Twitter account suspended the first time I tried to manually follow a bunch of people to get followers. Got it back up with an appeal, minus all of my previous followers, but what is the up to date word on mass following now? How many people can I follow per day without getting shit on?

I thought I could do it till the warning popped up as long as I stopped right away, but apparently I'm wrong. This works with G+ so far even though the daily limit is much lower, but Twitter ain't having it. So...to the Twitter veterans...please help me out and tell me how many people I can follow. This account is for a brand I care about so I don't want to get it permanently banned now that I already got suspended, but I need to follow people to get followers and exposure.

In similar boat as you, just starting on twitter followed 1000 (from info shared on here + twitters help page). Was hit with ban and lost everyone i had tried to mass follow, but within 15 mins or so they were reinstated, after a few of those that i had mass followed had began to follow me back.

Anyway, gonna stick to just under 200 or so for now, just making sure they are really targeted to maximise my follow back rate.

From a new account, i would suggest around 100 people, just to be on the safe side.

Buy an aged account... (at least 6 months + old)

And then start RTing and Fav'ing the shit out of everything you see

After a few weeks of that, follow 200-300 people a day for a week... then go full blast 700-1k per day

I suggest Twitter, Instagram or Youtube for top picks. Most people (hardly anyone) don't use facebook, G+, or vine.

As a way to grow on twitter, doesn't require to buy an aged account. What I did (gained 2k in a day, and now at 22k. Kind of inactive) I had bio, profile pic, tweets, not just retweets - no spamming (100 following per hour or so) The goal is to look real, not to gain followers fast the first week. Take it slow for a bit, you will gain exposure for sure. Twitter also has gain tweets, where you follow who RTs the tweet and they follow back (most gain tweets work, just view the list before following them)

To increase the twitter followers be unique, daily tweet something interesting and share your twitter id on social sites and chat status or you can buy twitter followers from SEOclerks.

For a new twitter account - 25-50 follows a day. Once you hit the 2000 follows mark, start unfollowing and follow again, once you pass 2000 followers start increasing too 200-300 and ect

What you need is to test something like:

Follow X people daily until you have 500 followers
Up X to Y and follow Y daily until you hit 1000 followers
Up Y to Z and follow Z people daily until you hit 2000.

Then once you have a safe following plan, just use a VPS + Twitter Bot + Private Proxies and have like 100 Twitter accounts, with each one following and unfollowing based on it's own niche.

Rinse and repeat.

Once you have decent sized accounts (50,000+) you can then do Goals with other similar sized acounts - this is where you RT each other until you've both gained X amount of followers.

It's a snowball effect - the more followers you have, the quicker you can gain.

Keep engage with relevant audience & industry. Then, daily 40-50 daily strong followers.
