What are some good tricks or ways to getting a comedy twitter to get a ton of followers. I only piled up 400 in the last week which is taking forever. There has to be an easier way other than buying, and usually when you buy they are fake.. Any tips/tricks to getting to the big game at leask 10k followers in a fast amount of time without much work? All i do is post funny stuff like every few minutes at the moment.

I don't know of any "tricks" but what I do is slowly increase follow/unfollow ratio every day.
Say today you follow 50 people (if the account is brand new), the next day you increase it to 60, day after that 70 and so on. It takes time but with this method you're sure to get quality, targeted followers.

If you are funny and genuinely want real followers in comedy go to favstar(dot)fm follow all of the users, they will follow back. Some are freaking hilarious and writers for top TV shows and movies, others are amateur stand up comedians, or just funny and dysfunctional people.
I wouldn't spam there though, the clique of favstar peeps will get your ass blocked so fast from Twitter. It's like a gang, and if you dont fit in, peace out!
