Twitter followers without following?

Is there anyway to get lots of Twitter followers without following anyone and without using bots?

Not that I know of...you could go to twitterfall.com enter a search term and try to join in the conservation probably you'll get some followers that way but that is not going to cut it. There is also twiends where you can exchange twitter follows that may work also. I personally never used twiends but I know other's have. I basically stick to bots but twitter has been tough these days.

Obviously everybody would like to have more and more twitter followers without following anyone and i must say thanks for sharing this wonderful information with us.
