To some this will seem obvious, but basically, at this moment in time, my twitter account for 1 project is getting around 150-200 followers a day. A high percentage are ones following me back, but it seems to have gone semi-viral as looking at my logs on Tweet Adder, quite a few are following me first. Also on many people's Twitter accounts they are retweeting me and saying things such as 'Be sure to follow <my twitter>".
They are highly targeted and without giving my plan all away, what these people have in their tweets make it obvious that they are interested in this - so I grab their profiles automatically using Tweet Adder and follow them. When the profiles to follow reaches 0 it auto searches again and continues finding new profiles, and so on. So finding people to follow is no longer a problem.
The 'problem' is, the only ideas I have at the moment is to do the following:
- Set up a blog news section on Wordpress (actually done this but it needs the theme and content added - would love to auto blog if possible from other sites).
- Plan to add an Amazon store on a part of the site so people can buy things related to my core theme.
- I've used Interspire to allow people to 'subscribe' grab their email address for future marketing purposes.
- Will also add a forum/messageboard to the site for people to discuss the theme (very popular).
Can you guys think of other things I can add and monetize from this?
