Here's a lil trick I use that gets me a solid dose of real following. I'll keep it real basic, there aint much to it.
What you need:
Twitter account
Tweepi account
iMacros
Step 1 Find some one, an authority in your niche, that has a solid following. Make note of their Twitter handle.
Step 2 Create an account/ Log into Tweepi with your account that you want followers on.
Step 3 On Tweepi, on the top menu click on > Follow Tweeps > @user's followers or just go to this url:
Step 4 Type in the Twitter account you found in step 1
Now you will be brought to the screen that shows all the followers of that user.
Step 5 Scroll to the bottom of the page and do the tweet to your twitter account to get 40 users per page. This is importante. You can quickly go to your account and delete the tweet before anyone else sees if ya want.
Step 6 Go to your twitter account and tweet something because what you will do next will get people looking at your twitter account and can generate some nice traffic if you have your web site link there.
Step 7 Back on tweepi, sort by last tweet. Here is where the whole "trick" part of this is. By sorting it this way and adding the extra 20 twitter users, you will only be following a twitter user that has been active recently, so there is a greater chance of them following back or taking some action in looking at your account.
Step 8 Run the iMacros script. Loop it a few times. I have it only set to follow 10 users. You can set it to follow less or more, but remember you only want to skim the cream off the top. You don't want all the shit on the bottom. Nice frothy goodness on top of your latte!
Also! Do not follow too many people. If your twitter account is in good standing and you already have 3000 followers then go ahead and loop it through to follow 1000. But you can only do this once every 24 hours. And by 24 hours I mean, if you did it at 5pm, then you can only start following again the next day after 5 pm. I only follow 70 people on my authority account. It's been banned a couple of times because of the churn, but they are nice and give it back. Just be aware that if you get busy with this and greedy you will get banned!
