Call me stupid, I have used the search finction but couldnt find any twitter software that allows you to mass follow people? I must eb searching the wrong keywords or something...

You can get the free version of TweetAttacks but I use TweetAttacks Pro for it' ability to automate the entire follow/unfollow process. It does a lot more than that.

Tweetattacks should be the way to go.
Or maybe something like tweetadder.
