Twitter Follower Count Delay

Hi all,

So usually my follower count is real time, but lately (few days?) it seems to be hopping, so like it will stay the same for 2 hours then be 200 higher, is this what happens when you get to a certain amount of followers it starts buffering or not updating in real time? I'm at 8,500 followers on the account i'm talking about.

How long is the actual delay? Anyone know?

Yes, thanks, I'm not actually retarded. I'm obviously talking about even when I refresh, yet I know i'm getting new followers, but they just don't show up for a while.

Yes, I have noticed the delay too, but I do not know how much time it is

I dont know either ...I go to twittercounter to get the real time followers count

yea, it's pretty annoying

you can still switchback to old twitter which shows the correct, real-time values
