Being an idiot, I didn't realize that Twitter suspended accounts for mass following users (first time marketing Twitter; didn't read ToS).

I'm allowed to retrieve my account if I agree to stop doing it, but I have about 750 people I followed right before this happened. If I retrieve my account now before waiting a bit, am I going to lose my account because those same people will continue to report my old follows as spam?

scrap that one and make a fresh account with new private proxy, that account is marked, now its only a matter of days, weeks before it will be suspended again

better be safe than sorry , OP try to make a new account if you want to work things out in the long run..good luck.

this happened to me.

Wait what do you mean by "marked?" If all I do is drop normal tweets at this point, why would they re-suspend me if I'm not violating the ToS anymore?

Marked as in Twitter will be 'watching what you do'. Even is you act human for a few months, once you start posting ads or follow a fair amount, it will get banned.

If it was a one time thing, you will be fine with the account that you already have. Twitter can detect if you are following aggressively, so if you have not continued to do so after the warning, you will not be penalized for any after effects of your previous transgression. A good % of users who are new to Twitter get that warning. I've seen the host of a twitter chat get the temporary ban because they started following so many people during the chat.

I wouldn't even mess with retrieving the account unless it had 25k or more. For every one account that they suspend create 10 more.
