Hey all,

Ok quite a few threads about ways to make money from twitter traffic, but one of the keys to your traffic is getting followers.

What are decent ways to SAFELY get followers whether it be via manual labor or automation?

Also what are things to steer clear of? eg. mass unfollowing

P.S. If someone posts a method plz don't say the same thing only with another site. Like topten in twitterholics

Use Hummingbird 2 to build niche followers, the tools FREE in download section.

Nice suggestions above...
My experience with hummingbird is that I have followed thousands and don't even get hundreds of followers back...

yeah, hummingbird never worked for me either..

also using trademytweets got me REAL followers.. it wasn't just companys and businesses that hummingbird seems to only add.

those sites are kind of like the myspace addme whore sites back in 2007 when myspace was still popular.. now all the whoreme kids have moved to twitter.

Same here, Hummingbird never really worked on much of a scale for me either

What's been working for me is checking out the trends and saying something rediculous about whatever is trending. Generally get a few followers every time. I don't put much time into it though. I'm sure if you poured some time into it you'd get a ton of real people following you.

I'll have to try hummingbird to see if it works or doesn't, but like another reader said, trademytweets.com was blacklisted in Chrome, chromium, firefox, google, xmarks and even WOT. .....

very questionable indeed. My kind of place! Worth a try!

Wow this an old post,
Thanks for the kind words (for TrademyTweets).

Just to clear things up, the site kept getting banned because Twitter kept reporting us for accepting people's passwords.

Makes sens I guess, if anyone if interested I have a re-vamped version currently online: spreadyourtweets*c*o*m

It uses "Twitter's oAuth" API so no passwords needed :P

Thanks.
