Anyone know how to retrieve direct messages from twitter that have been deleted?

I don't think there's a way to do that, man. But you can try looking for answers on Google.

Once the message has been deleted it can not be displayed anymore. Maybe there is a server-sided exploit, but I doubt it.

You can't retrieve the deleted messages.
