Twitter clearing spam accounts quicker?

I run quite a large profile and even though my rank is consistently improving, based on Social Blade, the daily growth isn't as high as it was a few weeks ago.

Checking Donald Trump's profile, that too isn't picking up as many new followers up as it used to.

Or is it simply because more people are now out of lockdown and so aren't glued to their phones/computers as much as they were?
