Twitter Changed The Password Change Method?

Hello guys,

I noticed today that all my twitter accounts are locked and followliker wasn't able to unlock them. Then I manually changed the password on one of the accounts, and surprise surprise they sending you the password reset link via email. No more simple password change without clicking on the email link. At least for me. Is it a ban for the frequent password changes, or is it for everybody?

BTW I hope followliker will come up with an update soon.

What are your settings on followliker?

Maybe your account was locked because of that.
 
I followed/unfollowed between 500-1000 users daily based on the age of the current account. If that wasn't enough, I use SNAP plugin to post so there are 2 IPs per account involved. I guess this is not the best scenario.
 
I use another Twitter Tool, but I was banned for less than 500 follows/day...
 
My accounts are not banned. Only locked so a password change would fix it. However, thanks for the frequent changes the only way to reset password is by accepting an email and clicking on the link.

yep, they changed the method seemingly to stop us from this easy unlock process. Really sucks, probably nothing we can do...
 
What's your method for tweeting and following? Do you use only followliker for all the tasks, or multiple software IP like I do? I tweet via SNAP Wordpress plugin, but follow / unfollow with followliker. I want to know why Twitter fucked me in the ass... is it the multiple methods/IPs that connect to one account, or the many follows/unfollows?

Hello, i could use some help setting up and implimenting followliker. i simply do not have time to do it myself and could use some paid help. You seem to know it well... are you able to help?
 
This change is for everyone. This started on Monday. All mine do the same as yours and I get several locked every day
 
So then, the ball is in the bot programmers' court. Receiving an email and clicking into the link is doable -- considering they how many functions they automated already. Hopefully updates start to roll out in a couple of days.
 
Twitter's update stopped the feature but follow liker will probably fix it in an update.

i guess they can and will do this at least w/ the major free email providers, but more than likely you'll need POP3 enabled email accs tied to the twitter accs
 
Set up a filter in your email so all of the twitter locked emails go to one account. It's annoying having to do this but that's what i'm doing now instead of logging into different emails to check which accounts I need to unlock.

Honestly I don't see what kind of update Follow Liker can do to bypass this. They'd have to get the software to login to the email account, click the link, and then type in the name of the account that needs to be unlocked before getting the final email to reset the password.

And even worse... if you unlock too many accounts in a short period of time then you get locked from unlocking more accounts for a few hours.

Yep agreed this update effected me aswell and now all accounts must be unlocked via email! +1 to email rule method and just hope that the bot makers are able to find a work around
 
I contacted Follow Liker support. They say that they're working on a solution.
 
Just updated Follow Liker. They came up with a solution already!! Nice! Now you need to put in your email for each account and it will take care of the rest.
