    Hi people,
I have trying something out today. I took offer from CB - The Magic of Making Up - and twitted about it with texts about making up and shit. I have created bit.ly account and tracked today's clicks on that link.

Gravity for that thing is 386.2, so I thought that it is worth some work, but now when I look at my clicks, and there is 1500 click and not a single sale I feel stupid

What is your conversion with CB?

No reason to feel stupid, you're taking action which is 93% of the battle.

Twitter traffic is known to be horrible for conversions as it is very untargetted and twitter users are being spammed daily with the same offers. You're doing the right thing by getting 1500 clicks. Just keep it up and switch offers until you find a goldmine.

I was just thinking about that... Thanks for support mate! This 0:1500 looked like another wasted idea to me...

That's what I first tried using twitter for but yeah the conversions suck. I know it can be done but I'm pretty lazy...so what I do now is use that revtwt program. It really isn't as bad as some people on here make it out to be. They have quite a few advertisers that pay $.20 per click. So with your 1500 clicks you could have gotten $300 from them.

I dunno if that's the route you want to take, I just have had no luck with conversions on twitter.

Just tweeting and sending people directly to the sales page is a really bad way to use Twitter. It may work for a couple sales, but it's not worth it.

You need to send your traffic to a squeeze page to capture their info. Give them some good quality content and you will see some killer conversions.

It's true, if u send the twitter traffic directly to a landing page there will be no conversions, use a good squeeze page or set up a autoblog and fill it with different advertisements and then the conversions will be good.

When you say Google, I take it you're waiting for Adsense?

Adsense and Twitter is another lousy plan unless your blog is optimized for really high-paying keywords. But even then it still is much better to go for affiliate promotions IMHO.

You will have a much better chance making money with affiliate promotions like CB products. Plus you don't have to wait for any approval, so you can mae money right now.

I believe that 99% of those click are real human clicks. Well, that was stupid product anyway... After that, I have send 200 click (bit.ly stats say 200) to Rude(.)com e-mail submit page. In stats I see that I had 15 click and no sale. Anyway, I have one new idea :)
I`ll push it hard in next few days and after that I`ll post my results. Thanks for responses people! :whee:

So are you saying to load the squeeze page with good quality content so the traffic will opt-in, then you can re-direct to the sales page for the immediate sale?

Or are you saying to get them to opt-in so you can give them good quality content through an auto-responder series that will cause them to buy later?

Who's to say you can't do one or the other? Or maybe both?

Testing and tracking on your OWN my friend. That's how you will find what works in what markets.

Gravity isn't everything. The other part of the equation you should be looking at is analyzing the performance history of the product itself.

For example, for Magic of Making Up:

    Code:
    http://www.cbtrends.com/clickbank-product/makingup.html
The gravity graph is skyrocketing, but the earned per sale graph is showing a downward trend.

I would look for products that have an upward growing trend, and combine it with an opt-in page as recommended by yukinari.
