I'm using Twitter hummingbird and automate 6 for the unfollowing. It's a bit troublesome but it still does it's job.

^^^^ i use that too...... quite well for now, i keep it at around 200,300 per day. unfollowers that is.

If you unfollow more than 500 in a 24 hour time frame, you will be suspended.
i used this one too, but is it safe to unfollow about 400?
