As I have understand to get alot of bot traffic from Twitter is kind of normal, and this traffic is also logged as "real" traffic/clicks in twitter analytics and bitly analytics.
From what I can tell around 50% of the traffic is just sh*t. But what I also have notice is that in bit.ly analytics the real traffic is logged with twitter as source and you can also (if you have connected you twitter to bitly) see from what tweet the traffic came from. And the fake traffic are logged as direct traffic (not twitter as ref). Also all of the fake-traffic or atleast 99% of it seems to come from Sweden.
So I'm just a little curious if anyone knows what this is for traffic? Where does it come from? Is it twitter bots or something else? I find it a little strange that it would be twitter bots when the traffic comes from Sweden?
