I've spent some time now and then over the last week or so monitoring Twitter accounts who I know have signed up for Twitter Blue and I'm noticing something.
By using SocialBlade the follower gain, for most of the accounts, has increased by a bigger margin than when looking at the account's history. Even accounts that don't particularly have that many followers have had a jump in their normal daily increases.
Something has certainly changed in the algorithm where I think if you pay the $8 a month or whatever it is, and get the Blue Tick, you stand a better chance of being seen, having people engaging with you, and consequently, gaining followers, than if you hadn't signed up for the Twitter Blue.
And I've seen large accounts without a blue tick, go from circ 1000 followers a day increase, to hardly any.
