Hi guys,

I know it used to be possible to import/export csv files for account to be blocked on twitter but that feature was removed some time ago, is there any way to at least export blocked usernames somehow? I dont mind blocking all accounts I need blocked manually but then I'd like to have that list available to be used for TwitterDub (which is amazing btw), right now I cant find a feature to do so but I need to block a bunch of accounts for each of my bots.

Are you asking about the twitterdub feature? A block feature does exist, on the follow tab. Or a feature that used to appear on twitter.com?

If you want a list of all currently blocked accounts, can you view this data on twitter.com? If so the program could scrape it (it currently does not have this feature) But if the data exists on the twitter.com, it can be added easily enough. Just let me know

hey root,

yes I used the block feature on twitterdub already, right now I have to manually write down each username I want to block and load the txt file but the block list increases frequently, hence I was wondering If there was a option to block ALL users that replied to a certain tweet or something like that automatically.

Twitter used to be able to export the the block list but now as they dont I dont see an easy/automated way to create a new list regularly.

Currently the block feature only takes a list of profiles to block.

However you can do this in two steps.
1) Scrape tab, run your search to output the profiles you want to block, this will save to a file, shown at the end of the action
2) run the block action with the file saved out in (1)

yea cant get it to work, probably me doing something wrong, I input the complete URL to the tweet but it only outputs the url to the tweet or ID's but not usernames

EDIT: think I got it but It only brings up like 5 usernames from a post with 17 replies, is that down to twitter only displaying a minimal amount at first?

You would need a "Custom Search" with steps:
REPLIERS
AUTHOR / CREATOR of tweet

It should pull all replies, not just the top 5. If only 5 usernames made those 17 replies, that could explain it, or if you did not specify the total results wanted. Another possibility is the custom search steps, results per step wanted

REPLIERS (1000)
AUTHOR / CREATOR of tweet

Would ensure you had them all.

But this is only guesswork, without knowing exactly what you did / how you did it and the app logs I am only speculating. If can confirm how you ran the search, the tweet URL used and submit your logs: HELP > LOGS > SUBMIT

then send your logs ID - the first 4 numbers is sufficient (displayed after successful uploading of logs)

If any of that information is private, please use email to send it to me.
