Twitter banned my domain name (help!)

I am a publisher on Twitter and have been using the domain name "pic-tweet.co" to mask my links that I post for advertisers. However yesterday this domain has been flagged and wont direct to any websites masked with it. Is there anyone around this or do I have to get a new domain? It seems that this is happening a lot with domains that resembles the pic.twitter

You just answered your own question. Why would you try to rip their own coined term "tweet" in a domain?

I dont use pic-tweet.com, I OWN pic-tweet.co and mask my own links.. However Like I said twitter has banned my domain
 
Just use a redirect like mcaf.ee

That's what I do and it works like a charm

Lol you're a fool sometimes and your arrogance is annoying. I know the person who made that motivation post as his first post, and he makes just that. Maybe he always read and never posted before then?

You probably scare about 5-10 newbies away every day by throwing out BS replies at them no matter what they post.

And wouldn't you think the OP would've checked his domain in the process of discovering it was banned? Kind if a newbie question if you ask me.

And OP a lot of people on Twitter just got screwed, many shorteners like bitly can't be used now. And tons of domains were blocked that imitated the pictwitter method. You're just going to have to find a domain that isn't deceptive, and redirect/mask with it.

Ha, you would be surprised how many times people don't check the basic things first.
If people are too sensitive to the things I point out then maybe this isn't the right game for them.
It helps to have a thick skin.
And my arrogance is one of my better qualities.

I think he had a legitimate question. If you go to the domain there is no files. I would have thought you'd do the 301s with a php file and it's was still a possbility he was doing that and something went wrong.

Scaring off rookies is like a free noob filter. if someone is so offended that they leave from someone else's comments, maybe we don't need them?

If he is using an affiliate site, most of them provide their own custom URL shorteners. If he's dealing with multiple advertisers that don't shorten by themselves, he's likely been editing conf files on his own server many times...
 
No plain and simple they banned it cause you have a domain with their coined term without permission.
 
It was mentioned above that bitly can no longer be used on Twitter. As recently as today, i have used bitly. I have never actually had a problem using it on Twitt. No hate mail please. Just saying...

But op was basically asking mc Donalds why there suing him for making a burger and calling it a big Mac.
 
Haha I love threads like this. There's so much misinformation in here. OP this seems to happen every few months site wide. I had another one of mine banned 2 weeks ago that I had been using for about 4 months. There's nothing you can do except buy a new one. The bright side is now you can find a url much better than pic-tweet.co.

I doubt there are any Twitter publishers that would still be using bitly anyway

If you would have checked perfectly in the attached file of OP thread where W130SN is been targeting it says DOXR link shortner
and http://pic-tweet.com/ also has the same name isn't it a coincidence
 
Just buy a new domain name for like $5.00, then add a CNAME record to its zone on your name server, and point it to your old domain. No need to do any kind of setup work or moving of files. And don't forget to leave your old domain up too, because if you take it down your links in past tweets will break all of a sudden.
 
My URL got banned by Twitter too (yesterday). I contacted them but no reply yet. And my site is an authority site and I never used any blackhat techniques to promote it on twitter.

They don't want people using link shortners because they have their own. Its pretty simple and easy to see.
