.Twitter has fucked me over badly this month, so much so that in all the years I've been doing twitter which is since it started, Im considering moving on for a while. Its becoming to unpredictable with all the locking of accounts and wanting phone verification constantly.

I've stopped dming actions on all of my accounts and I'm going to spin in new content into the tweets, but I've stopped most of my accounts from following n unfollowing until the wave is over. I have a couple test accounts to test the waters and nothing so idk what the deal is.

I had 8 twitter accounts that got locked and needed password reset. Not sure how long this purge will be so I paused this project, but my project that has 5 year old twitter account were okay and running well.
I can see this being very annoying for those who have 100 of accounts, so yes it be great if FL was able to do it automatically reset as it was able to do in the past. Because this time I had to do it manually by going to each email to reset pass, but luckily I only had 8 to do.

Seems like TW is just putting the hammer down on anything and everything.
I am getting SMS and LOCKS on aged accts tweeting no links and following < 70 ppl per day and 20-30 likes, like 10% of my accts like this are getting hit each day.
The random hammer seems a little heavier on the accts following more aggressively, but everything is getting hit, maybe 20% of all each day..

Did you write FL support via e-mail to tell them about this problem? Because FL is not doing pw reset for me anymore and I wrote them. And they told me nobody else is complaining about this problem except for me. So you really should contact them so they will fix it.
I think you might be right. I have 1 aged and 1 young account both running without proxies: no problem. same goes for 1 aged and 1 young account running on proxies and these are getting hit. All 4 are test accounts so we might are getting somewhere now!

Proxies are not the main reason for sure. By running 4 accs per proxy some accs getting SMS and email verification, while others on same proxies are doing fine.
Let's figure out first if it's not due to FL as I guess ~99% of people here use it. So, is there any other bot users having same problems? I mean mass suspensions, locks, sms re-verification..

And as those acc are used for non blackhat stuff I am careful as hell ...

Yes, it's pretty random. It has nothing to do with proxies or certain bots, i use a different bot than FL or MP and still my accs were also hit, not now though, but a month ago, since then i haven't followed a single user and my accs are just fine. It appears that the banning/locking wave has something to do with following, not with the amount, but with the action itself. Maybe it triggers further checks on the accs using different algorithms, which help Twitter separate legit users and spam accs. It's just speculation though, what's sure that it has something to do with following, so for now (maybe for the time being) i just ceased that activity.

I've been blocked using FL on an old account, FL settings are the same as I've used for a long time. I've unlocked using SMS Verification, everything’s working now but FL is still giving me the "Account is paused because this account requires phone SMS verification" message. Does anyone know how to get FL working again? Or do I just have to wait.

I think its because of mass following/liking only. I have 10 test accounts that don't spam any links, just post text tweets without hastag abusing, no dm's, still got locked.

If you have stooped following a month ago, how do you know that this time It has nothing to do with certain bots? FL and MP are two "biggest" bots, so it would make sense if they would look for footprints of those two.
Also, does anyone tried to follow 100+ manually and still got email or sms verifcation?

Well, i didn't mean to, but i started a follow cycle by mistake on a few accs a few days ago, that's how i know lol. I don't think that this wave is any new though, for me it's still the same as a month ago, at least from the symptoms that's what i gathered.
When people use quite different bots and these waves hit everybody at the same time, you can be almost sure, that it has nothing to do with bots, because it's highly unlikely, that Twitter would start to detect a handful of differently operating bots at the very same moment.
Most of the time you need to find the explanation elsewhere, it's rather the proxies (which is not the case now), user actions, Twitter changing limits etc. I personally think that this latter happened now or at least it has something to do with it.
Maybe try bigger delays between two actions, at least a minute or up. I will play with the delays too a bit, because i noticed that other actions also require higher delays to stay under the radar and not to get blocked/suspended.
I didn't have the time or patience, but i'll run a few tests now, i guess i'll be smarter in a day or two.

Out of my 150 accounts, 120 got hit with an SMS verification after a couple of hours of using FL this morning. Got the email for "unusual login" via email also. Let's hope this wave soon ends.
