So recently I tried to automatically follow and unfollow users on Twitter like I do on Instagram to gain followers. However after day 1 and less than 150 follows a day I got hit by a notification that removed my follows and disabled my account for a day or two. Is it even possible to do this method anymore?

The account in question was around a year old. Do you need older than a year for this to work?

It also matters how many followers you had on that account.

what's your automation method?

I'd buy 5-10K followers and then follow massively. That's what I did on aged accounts (2+ years).

Its not that I am that much experienced with twitter tbh but spammed other social sites back in the day ,

rules should apply for twitter as well , so thing is that you firstly should create all the accounts with diff IP's and possibly verify them using SMS , there are a few services that do sell phone numbers you can use for a limited period of time . Now that you got the profiles up and running , start completing them with the profile/cover niche (that suit your niche) , bio and such . Start following a few people and share a few tweets here and there throughout the day . Keep warming the accounts for a few days and once that's done start by botting but not that aggressively tho , eventually everything will seem natural in the eyes of twitter spam bots and you wont have much problems as long as you keep your accs under radar

The problem is that I was not doing it aggresively at all, so I am kinda confused.

consider the option of buying aged PVA twitter accounts and give that a try

Try using Cloohawk. It automativally suggests ways to increase your follower base and engagement.

Are you crazy? For growing your new profile you can follow 10-20 a day.

This was 3 years ago. Back then 150 was average and my accounts were somewhat aged. It is irrelevant now.

Are you sure to do this?
