I've posted elsewhere that someone needs to come up with an Aweber-style DM system. It's crazy that it has not been developed yet. With "smart search drop".
I mean...really. It's an extension of the Aweber idea...but for Twitter.
You setup 3 searches:
"iphone"
"lose a few pounds"
"make more money"
Whenever someone tweets these terms they are auto-followed. But WAIT! It gets better.
After they are followed, it drops them into a "DM Responder" that will kick off the next day...giving them time to follow back.
The "iphone" people get dropped into the iphone campaign, the "lose a few pounds" people are dropped into a weight loss campaign, and the "more money" people are dropped into your newbie internet marketing campaign.
Each campaign consists of a series of 52 prewritten Tweets to be DM'd out over the next 2 years. If someone unfollows you I'm guessing an error will be generated...the script would automatically end the campaign once it discovers the error.
Now you're AutoDMing people what looks to be personal messages...all the time. You can do away with the AutoDM from there on out.
It needs to have a "sleep" function too. Log into your account and set it to "sleep" or not if you want. That way you can try to have send out the scheduled auto-dms only if you are not "sleeping". All scheduled Auto-DMs would be delayed so that they go out when you are online and can response directly to people that respond to your DM.
Can someone explain why nobody has come up with something like this? All the services available right now are clones of each other. None of them are doing this.
This is so simple and so powerful. Where are the inovators? Sometimes I wish I was a programer.
