if i use the same twitter api keys for many different twitter accounts, doesnt that imply that all these accounts come from the same person and get the accounts suspended?

is it easy to apply for the api keys? do i have to have a website or something?

Yes. Create a different app and new keys for each account.

You don't have to create an actual app. Just give it a name, desc. and it's practically ready. I assume the only purpose of you creating an app is to get the api key and access token. It actually is a piece of cake. :)

Yeah that's what I meant. You need to register a new app with Twitter under that account. It takes about 2 minutes to do that and get the token/api keys.

i just found out about the twitter web intents. it's much easier than using the API. i dont even need to get any keys.
i dont need to learn to use their API. basic php will suffice.

even better - since the intents is meant for websites, tweets from different accounts can be expected to come from the same IP (ie, that of my website). i guess maybe i will need to make an unsuspicious website? for both twitter, and amazon (my purpose) to see?

the only problem with web intents is you cannot login (hence no keys required).
my temp fix is to just login manually, and use scripts to work with the browser. this is not a problem when only working with 1 account. for multiple accounts, i can use a script, or curL, or even imacro to login and out.
