I used to make around $80/day on average from Twitter with Tweet Attacks.. but accounts started getting banned like mad and i just said to hell with it..

Is anyone still making money there?

If so.. what kind of stuff are you doing?

Mass account creation and spamming with Wait n reply? that's what i used to do..

Any feedback is appreciated. I went for another go at it like a month ago and 100+ accounts were banned within 2 hours. I just don't want to leave money on the table

It's getting very hard to make money now with accounts being banned.

Unless you really know what your doing it's not worth while.
 
I use wait n reply with links to site of one local restaurant, for friend of mine, results are more than good. Specific keywords that are catching only people who is mentioning specific part of the town, not too much of replies but highly targeted. in last week had about 10 suspended accounts of 100 accounts, absolutely sure that are suspended for reported tweets, not for triggering antispam filters.
 
I agree with I shred. I dabbled with this approach at the end of last year and early this year, but it was getting too hard. I had hundreds of account a few licences on different computers. In the end it wasn't worth churning all the accounts and writing ads, changing links etc.

I can see it working at a mega targeted local level but not at the volumes required to make affiliate or cpa money.
 
Has twitter gotten alot stricter with suspensions within the past week for anyone?

So you still continue or gave up like me ? :D I am very happy for you that you manage to make around $80/ day. The conversion for me SUCKS. I promote CPA offers . How about you ? Selling your own product ?
 
Unless your a very popular person (online celebrity, movie star, singer, band etc.) It's almost impossible to make anything on twitter...
 
Even leaving the accounts to age for 3 weeks gets them suspended before any money is made
 
Really tough to make anything there, traffic is terrible even if you can avoid getting banned
 
What software are you guys using to make the accounts? Mine are fine, and the ban rates are average. Or, are you fresh making them and plugin them into wait-n-reply? That would be a no-no..
 
How many people actually still use twitter? Seems like you guys are going through a lot of work for a decreasing target audience..
 
I use twitter to talk to friends and see amusing things, not everything needs to be for making money.

This is why twitter will never die for some of us, You can't seem to think outside the box. Just because you can't spam a link and get a conversion does not mean its "impossible to make anything on twitter" just means its "impossible" for you and people that have the same mindset.

Twitter is an insane place to get traffic from, it's not hard.
The problem with most of you that continue to say twitter is "dead" or "impossible" is that you have no idea how to use your head, I'm not trying to be rude but damn.. All you need to do is think outside the box, split test things..

Yes the days of spamming direct CPA links on twitter are dead for the most part, you might be able to make a little from it, but at the end of the day it will seem as it was a waste of time.

Learn to use twitter to BUILD A TARGETED LIST.
Learn to use twitter to GET TWITTER APP INSTALLS
Learn to use twitter to INCREASE YOUTUBE VIEWS
Learn to use twitter to INFLATE BLACKHAT CPA STATS
Learn to use twitter to GET SITES/PAGES/BLOGS INDEXED
Learn to use twitter to SELL TRAFFIC

and many other things..
Just sit down, clear your head, and think of a NEW twist that no one else is doing.

twitter is not dead by any means.

@moviedemands Thanks for that post. I've managed to gather a few thousand followers across a couple accounts and have been thinking about ways to monetize. I really didnt want to go to the CPA spam method and you've just opened my eyes.
 
You could offer a "Tweet" service to inflate peoples Twitter "Tweet" buttons on their websites.

Just do some digging around here to find out ways to do it yourself... and then open up shop and sell your service.
 
Traffic coming from twitter is very low. I have tryed to advertise different CPA on thusand followers and nothing :(
 
im making money on twitter right now

just refining a huge method that im creating =) of course wont tell about it right now heh

but THERE is money over there
