Hello, I have been auto posting to twitter for many years using 3rd party services.
As many have noticed, recently twitter has gotten a lot tougher. I can guess as well as anybody, my question is: Has anybody done any experiments?
I have lost hundreds of aged accounts recently dating from 2008-2015, some had thousands of followers. Also had a bunch of purchased pva accounts restricted within 2 days of starting to post.
Here are a few questions regarding exactly what the twitter algorithm might be looking for:
frequency of posting - I have been posting hourly but will be switching to every 12 hours. My bet is this is the biggie, hourly used to be ok but maybe not any more
email address - are they looking at the domain names for email addresses? I don't think so but that's just a guess
duplicate content - that's been known a long time, my 3rd party service doesn't post if my api/rss script duplicates
date of setup - if multiple accounts are setup and/or changed and/or start posting same day
source of posting - if a 3rd party service is still in business, seems like that should not be a problem
purchased pva accounts - if they use the same phone twice? if they are from certain countries?
links within a post - if they are pointing to the same domain or a group of domain names?
links in general - if every post has a link? That might be an issue too, although that's the whole point of auto posting.......
Any ideas welcome, questions too!
Cheers, Mike
