hello guys,

is there anybody experienced with both twitter and facebook. We have started a new website and would like to spread the word with social networking too.

What do you think? twitter accounts or fb fan pages which helps most to promote a website?

Think you need both cause they are different kinds of users on each platform.

And I think you need a lot of them to be successful. My twitter accounts are approaching 40,000 followers. I would like another 100k on that if I could.
 
Twitter works a little better than FB for me at least these days but the results may vary from niche to niche.

My goodness - are you getting all these followers manually or any tools??

I am getting more benefit from the facebook fan pages so ia m using it only
 
wow, 40k twitter followers and how many people are you following?
 
Depends on the demographics of your target audience......Twitter is way better.
 
Both will do, you just need to use it wisely, don't attempt to spam, otherwise, your neighborhood will treat you as a spammer, and perhaps remove you on their network.
