Not sure where to post this (since I cannot post in Social media forum for free) but I am looking to get more information about Twitter accounts and / or Bots.
One thing I am trying to emulate but do not know where to begin is when a major brand Tweets on Twitter almost instantly there is some sort of bot or something that instantly replies to that Tweet with their own spam / advertisement / links. I am looking to do this but only to get more exposure for a contest I am running. So it's not spam per say, just looking for an automated way to say "hey guys, we are running a contest for the community, sign up here". An actual legit contest. We want to target certain followers that match our niche, etc.
What is this method called? Trying to learn, etc.
