Have you ever utilized online services to recover your Twitter account? I just had some small issues with my Twitter Account that was hacked on 24 March, and I can't access it. Some people online ask for various amounts: from $48 to $99, to recover it. The main issue and big flag are that all ask for money before takeover the account and only through PayPal F&F.

I deal with Twitter recoveries, and no one will recover your account for $99 brother. 100% a scam.

So the account is not recoverable, correct? It's that what you say - and all those asking for upfront payments are scammers.

The account can be recovered, I'm just saying market prices for recovering accounts isnt and will never be $100.

And yeah, it is 100% a scam if they're asking for such a low amount and specially upfront payment.

I felt that from the time I asked them why upfront if I want to regain it and will pay after they left a tweet there and they have control. But I didn't find any service here or in some other place.

I've been hearing that for the past few months Twitter Support has been impossible to reach out to. Be it account suspensions or API related questions, silence.
from $48 to $99
Sounds like a scam, somebody on this forum was offering or is still offering such service for couple of thousand.

Can you point me to their thread? I tried to find it, but I found only Twitter accounts and other services but not this.

You can try by yourself to recover your account (the most importnat one). Just write to support, that you don’t have acces to your account, because your date had beed stolen or something like this. Use real phone number

It's all a scam, any recovery services or services, you can do it yourself, through support, but it can take more than two weeks

I tried that from 24 until today, 15 times/day, completed the form, replying to emails and nothing until now.

Last year i also contacted support with ask to give me back access to the account and it was successful. Todays difficulties, perhaps, related to the mass changes and layoffs happening at Twitter. So if you don’t get answer for a long time (month for example) nothing left to do then how to write personally to Mask about their awfull support…

wait a bit more to see if support reply you. Don't hurry to give anyone money for account recovery

wait for support, seems scam, because they need to contact support and they will lie or provide any excuse to help you recover the account and if they fail that's all, I recommend to wait for twitter suppor response to help you recover your account.

About 1 hour ago, Twitter reinstated my control over the lost account. The email Reset link was sent without paying anything to anyone. It took about 1 week and 3 days to answer the request and send me the link. But every day I filled 2-3 requests to regain access to the account.

When I used to use follow/unfollow, if any account was suspended, I would contact support and plead ignorance.

I even had a message template that I would use. It sometimes took a week or two, but they always came back.

But now, as far as I'm aware, there is no support department at Twitter? Therefore there's no actual humans to read the message and do something about it?
