Twitter account constantly asking for phone verification?

It could be just bad proxy. Because tw acc on my ip is almost undead and several other accs, but it also could be by retweeting and othwr settings.

1. Will getting suspended this often possibly end up causing my account to get shutdown (or negatively impacting it)?

2. Is there any set limits I should be following for a newish account?

3. Could this be because I am following too many people compared to how many people that are following me? Like for example, if I have 20 followers, but I'm following 300+ people?

4. Any recommended settings anywheres (for massplanner) to ensure that my account looks legit? (maybe even to help with my followers to following ratio too?

@samiejg: This is standard procedure for new Twitter accounts since a good few months now. Nothing to worry about. Just keep following, no matter what you need to combat the first few verification requests (3 phone verifications and 1 password reset), when you completed these initial verification requests, Twitter will let you on your way. Tweeting can trigger phone locks too besides following, take into account that too.

When you get phone locked, most of the time the following counter shows zero until you (re-)verify the account, when you did that, in a few hours the counter will go back up, where it's supposed to be. This is exactly what you experienced. It's a common phenomenon, you don't have to worry about this either.

Just to clarify, when you say "suspended", in Twitter lingo it means permanently banned. You weren't suspended, you were "just" phone locked a couple of times.
