Twitter acc growth vs IG growth

I've personally never been and avid Twitter user. I'm using FL to manage a handful of IG accounts for clients. I've gotten fairly adept at drilling down an audience. Now I've been asked if I can do the same for a Twitter account.

I said "yes" without really knowing lol. Anyone w experience in both? Can you get similar results using similar techniques?

Yes, you can. In fact, I think twitter is EASIER to grow than Instagram.

I spend virtually NO time on twitter - my account is fully automated with Mass Planner. My twitter account just overtook my IG account last week & is now larger. Funny thing is, I spend hours a week on IG - between planning content, engagement groups, etc.

Follow / unfollow works on twitter. Follow users who recently retweeted or liked your authority accounts. That's really all I do.

One important caveat. Some clients don't want to follow/unfollow for fear of offending anyone in their sector. I was able to get them an acceptable level of grown just commenting and liking. Would that be a viable method on Twitter as well?

That's super weird. I've tested out twitter a ton and my Instagram accounts ALWAYS get 350% more engagement. It's crazy.

I've heard that Twitter ghosts almost instantly. I've yet to see anybody recent making a good income with follow/unfollowing on Twitter.

As accounts growth goes ID is probably a bit faster due to the a bit leaner rules using the follow/unfollow method . But as traffic and engagement goes, at least in my niches, IG is like 10 times better
