Well I have been wondering how to monetize my tweets and came across these two sites. If you haven't yet heard about them, they require you post a tweet on your timeline and they per per click.

Before I plunge into any of them, I would like honest reviews about them. If there is any other similar site which pays for tweeting, please let me that as well!

    Thanks in advance!

    Cheers!

    Both are unuseful
I have 1500 followers and none of them even sent me one ad

Twittad is a good system. It is importen to understand revTwt and twittad are two different companys.
revTwt is a SCAM! Just run and don't look back.

Twittad is different. The key to succes with twittad is to set your price low. Don't expect to sell your twitter background for 50$+ if you got less then 30k followers. Think of it. Would you pay that much yourself? No you won't
Another thing that give succes with Twittad is pleasing the advertisers. I always give a @mrtweet recomondation and a #followfriday to all advertisers that sponsor me.

I know the Twittad CEO reads this board, so maby he has some tricks he could share?

Be A Magpie is some what ok I guess. I have made more then 200€ from them, but they have spread out over 10 accounts, so I haven't reached the 50€ mark that is needed to get a payout. I tend to loose followers each time a post an ad thouge, so don't know how good it is.

I've made a couple good paydays with Magpie, however, here lately it has become a giant pain in the ass. They've suspended some the accts. I manage because of too many messages in the twitter timeline. I have to go back and delete messages so the ads can get thru. Unfortunately, this cannot be done in bulk with Twitter. It has to be done one at a time.

I will keep my main acct. w/over 10k followers active w/mpie, (maybe) but the others will just have to die. I just do not have the time or patience for it. Especially now that Tweetlater has free mass tweet upload available. I'll just use the CPA networks and make all the money! Less time + more money = no brainer.

In all fairness to Mpie though, they are handcuffed when it comes to dealing with twittter's API. If twitter doesn't make some major changes SOON, not only will it become a mass marketing "non-entity", it will cease to be altogether. The money to operate the massive bandwidth and customer service has to come from somewhere.....

That's a pretty good idea frexspy. Screw the middelman and go for 100% of the comission your self. Thanks for that.
I would recoment you to mix it with Twittad thouge. Twittad can be combined with all other kinds of marketing.

    @aistee, @forexspy,

Thanks for the inputs. I have about 10k followers and havent yet posted any CPA offer or any money making stuff because I just want to keep one account and keep building followers for another month. I would rather have about 30k+ follower and then start milking some money out of them.

Just wondering what sort of stuff works with Twitter anyway?? Anything specific or you guys just keep posting CPA offers and wait for something to click?

    Cheers!

It seems to be hit and miss. The ever evolving Twitter does not convert like it used to and keeping up with all the changes and "rules" is tricky. An account with 3000 targeted followers used to do well. Not now because getting the true targeted followers is much more difficult and if you Zig when you should Zag..... bye, bye account.

Sheer volume seems to be the answer.

For some reason, once you hit 10K followers, as long as you are not totally stupid, life is a bit easier.

Resume writing/submission offers have been doing well lately. It does'nt have to be a CPA offer. If you can find a good converting website, promote it. Set up a free blog and send the traffic there first.

Watch TV and key in on a developing trend....find an offer related to it...then promote. But be fast. The gravy comes and goes pretty quickly.

I made a decent lick off the Ky. Derby and Preakness promoting horse betting sites. Traditionally the other 2 legs of the triple crown don't produce enough interest to mess with....... except for this year.

This year the 50-1 longshot won the derby, a freakishly strong Philly took the Preakness and the Belmont is shaping up to be a great duel. If I see some decent "buzz" in the national media, I'll give it some promo time also.

So there you go my friend, that is a couple things that are working for me right now...

Stay well away from revtwt/twtad!! These guys are running a huge scam. I had 10 of my accounts listed on there and i was making some decent money until the site was sold. Basically what happens now is you post the ads and get no return what so ever!! Shaving every single lead. Know this for a fact because i have run trials... FUnny part is now they are trying to sucker people into promoting cpa leads for them. Hope these scammers get what is coming to them.

Stay well away. revtwt is a SCAM.

    Thanks forexspy and GloCk99,

I'm now convinced not to go with any of these. Instead am just gonna wait and increase my followers a bit...mebbe about 20k and then start posting some links.

As you suggested promoting developing trends makes the most sense to me, hence I shall follow that.. but before anything, lemme get on to fiding my niche followers :)

    Cheers!

Stay well clear of Be a magpie they welcome you with open arms then when your over the payment amount they check you out and find a reason to ban you so they don't have to pay you.

total scumbags... no idea what the other one is like put me right off the whole system with my dealings with be a magpie

just promote your clickbank links rather than using any of them is my advice ;)

Yes I agree with that. I had 2 decent paydays w/magpie cause they were new. Now it is just 1 excuse after another. It is not worth the time or hassle anymore......

Yep, I had 25 accounts with M/pie. 24 have been suspended. The one left is only 5 bucks away from being able to cash out and they claim that there is a Twitter API problem. LMAO....

What dumb-asses. I was perfectly content to let them post stuff as it was truly hands free money. I doubt they will be around much longer....

They said too many messages in my twitter timeline. So I went back and painstakingly deleted 45 days of messages and let them know. They said OK we'll check again. After 3 more emails and 2 weeks the account is still not back up.

Here's the pattern, you get about half way to 3/4 to the payout level and they say that they cannot access the acct. because of twitter's api. You have to send a support request to twitter. Then this will happen 3-4 more times before they suspend your account and keep all the money.

It is Bullshit. I use a few different twitter tools and this is the ONLY one with the mysterious API/Timeline issues that seem to be unique only to them.
