Twitch success?

Hey guys,

I don't think there is a right place to post this thread so I'll post it here. Is anybody here that has decent twitch success? Like 50-100 viewers constantly on their stream? And what about buying views. Let's discuss.

Started streaming recently. Not hitting those numbers by a long shot. Would love to hear if what others have to say.

What i know is that if you want to get viewers on twitch you shouldnt stream much at first. What you want to do is to upload high quality clips and videos on youtube and social media like instagram and twitter. Start f/u to get some initial boost.

A buddy of mine told me this is the exact method a lot of people are doing. Something about the twitch algo not being good so people get discovered on youtube instead.

People on there just giving away money (donations) to celebrities.

I thought about doing it but I'm a shitty gamer lol
 
I tried to stream here and there. It was pretty awesome tbh.

If you're into some heavily watched games like Fortnite, LoL, etc. you'll have a hard time.
We're talking about 50k - 250k viewers and your channel will be waaaaay down the list.

I started with Rust. Youll have 4 - 7k potential viewers. This increases your chance to be
seen by quite a lot.

Soooo let me get my Stream-Manager:

Day 1:
0,1 Viewers

Day 2:
0,6 Viewers

Day 3:
4,8 Viewers

Day 4:
2,4 Viewers

Day 5:
9 Viewers

Day 6 - 12:
Between 8,1 and 11,2 Viewers
+1 Subscriber

And then I stopped streaming. Shit hit the fan and I lost my job and there were some
health issues needed to be taken care of.

I think I was on a good path. Twitch is a Marathon and a grind. I think you can push your
numbers with viewbotting. Twitch most certainly doesn't care if you're not overdoing it.

No need to viewbot with 100 people and the only chat interactions are your Nightbot (or
whatever you're using as a chat spammer)

Give it a try. I had a blast to play with others. People joined my Servers and farmed shit
for me. I had Endgame Weapons and stuff 1 day after a Server wipe because my viewers
(or Minions) would farm/raid/kill others and drop their loot at my doorstep. It was fun as hell.

Anyway. Good luck. Twitch, after a short grind, has a lot of potential.

BTW: I played around with the Ad-Button and made 0.50€. So yea, I guess I'm 1 step closer
to being rich.

This right here is exactly what's up.

I tried streaming full time for a month and at the end I had 10 viewers average. This only worked on a specific game and in my native language because I had no competition. Without external traffic you are not going up. Youtube clips are the way to go

It has nothing to do with that.
The amount of people who want to stream on twitch is huge so you have no way of breaking through only by streaming. Since fortnite came out, every 12 year old wants to be a streamer so you can imagine how hard it is now.
 
How much of an impact does GAME NICHE RESEARCH have on Twitch success?

Must have a little to do with that if people are leaving the platform to be discovered else where. How ever their recommendations work new channels aren't growing only the popular channels.

I mean even if there are a million fortnite gamers on youtube you'll still have a chance to get recommended if your content is good as a new channel.
 
If you are stable and adhere to broadcast times, you will be successful. But it's like no one who doesn't buy viewers :)

No you dont. You could have better chances as there are way more viewers on youtube than twitch. I have tried youtube and fortnite a year ago. I was pretty decent tbh. I could drop 20 bombs ocasionally but it didnt help at all.

You have to stand out from the crowd. A lot of new streamers don't jump in with the setup, you need a camera and personality to truly be successful. Viewers need to relate to your content, the games you play and how you play.

Content on Social Media is so important, more important then streaming as much as possible. Like somebody said the twitch algo promotes the big players in front of your face. How do you stand out?

Take Warzone for instance, the tournaments are giving people chances to qualify with the big streamers. Nick Mercs and TeeP both have tournaments that you can qualify for. Smarter ones are using TikTok with overlayed camera and commentation on their videos. They're gaining 200-300k followers on TikTok and spread their platform around...

Make a plan and stick to it you'll get there

Exactly, yes. You dont need to be the best at the game to be a successful streamer.
I watch a streamer called NickEh30. He is far from the best. He has a good personality and setup and thats why he is sucessful. You need to engage with the viewers and dont talk like you are bored ( this applies to yt as well ). He also has a nice camera and honestly i dont like to watch streamers that arent using a camera.

Not me, but I simp for a few channels and help these girls pay their electricity bills and try to save their souls.
 
I tried streaming for a few months(3-4) last year to around 1500 followers with around 20-30 average viewers per stream.

ended up dropping it. Wasn’t worth the time. I figured those 5 hours could be used to make much more money. I was right.

It really takes a lot out of you.

but it was fun. The most viewers I had during a stream was around 1300 people. Was pretty cool. Actually happened a couple times.

I would say if you want to get viewers. Just like with blogging niche down. I got lucky, I started to stream GTA RP on nopixel a few months before it blew up. So I was already setup on the server with some good storylines etc

so when it picked up. So did my channel.
