Okay, Twiends has removed Facebook from its website. FB has taken action on auto-follow websites like Twiends, Twimates. What's the good alternative to these sites for gaining Facebook fans?

Dear Former Twiends and Incentive Sharing Users,

I have been following the developments of Facebook Connect closely. As you know on June 17, Twiends had to suspend their relationship with Facebook in order to adhere to their new terms. Sites like Increasr, Twimates, Likes FM, Addsocials, EarnLikes and other sharing sites have been recommended. They are all disabled as of this morning. I've been talking with Twimates and they are developing a workaround which will depend on contacting the page admin and offering a like or recommendation. This will take a little while. Facebook has gone on to say they do not want page trading. But page sharing is permitted and if the box under the login is checked off and cookies are disabled which they always should be, FB cannot spy on us to see what we do. Never let it keep you logged in.

The reason FB has done this is the ad war going on between Facebook and Google. Despite FB's size, they see the writing on the wall. They know they have abused their power in order to remain a free site and gather information. There is a race to sell ads in order to attract the business of companies which have supplied Facebook with a net $150B profit whereas Google's is immeasurable. Facebook does not care nor understand it is not a search engine and wants to filter all of the internet's content through itself while destroying third party sites including Google. It wants you to get your news from your friends while keeping you uninformed. If Google proves they are more powerful for your ad campaign, their new social rollout feature which is like Facebook, will kill Facebook's traffic altogether. That being said, neither of these companies are your friends. Twiends has censored any information we have tried to provide to communicate with one another outside the site, taken our time, money and have isolated us from knowing one another which is not what the internet was ever about.

With Twiends and these other sites we have experienced some very poor followers who are only concerned with bulk unliking us rather than creating a secondary profile even if they use our products everyday or will purchase from us in the future. I say the best thing to do is a silent revolution. This is our content and we drive traffic to Facebook. If they are going to continue to run subpar and expensive ads, we should be conducting our business off their site. We should be emailing one another and sharing privately. We will then simply resemble users who like pages. We have to decide we are not a bunch of Kardashian or Louboutin customers. We like real business with real integrity. Simply I think we should begin an experiment. Email me, like the page I give you, tell me how to identify you on Facebook (such as I'm Roy Clark - watch for me in your fans), send me your page to like and refer your friends who have pages. This way we can grow organically and get to know each other as a community - the way it was meant to be with FB before they had to make hard cash to stay alive. Facebook cannot control what we do via email. There would be no site to shut down or disconnect from. Any unfriend receives an unfriend like Twitter. But we should stay and build each other up. No spamming, but refer as many people as you can through the circle and we will do the same. If your numbers are dropping, we might be able to prop them up over the next few hours if we work together. Email if you think it's a good idea and we'll see how far we can take it.

Facebook began an exclusive club. So can we.

If anyone here is interested in networking by sharing which is within the FB terms of service, let me know. We can share our way around this.

Here is exactly what you do:

1 Twitter the sh*t up. Get as many people following you as you are following them. Post several updates a day. Be interesting and attention grabbing. Follow what celebrities do.

    2. For everyone who follows your Twitter, set it up so that you are sending a DM with whatever your facebook link is.

    watch how it rolls in

but now twitter's tightening up things as well...have to be careful about posting "many updates"
