Tweets not appearing in hashtag search.

Hello everyone,

I'm fairly new to twitter, but I've just built an auto posting bot using the API. Anyways I set up a new account on twitter yesterday and set the bot to run. Some tweets contain URL's and some don't, but all of the tweets have hashtags attached. What I noticed yesterday is that none of the tweets are appearing in the hashtag search, like if you click on the hashtag my tweets don't show up but other peoples do.

Does a twitter account have to be so many days old before this starts happening, or does it need so many followers or something?

Okay I figured out why, my tweets need either a favorite or retweet in order for them to show up in the hashtag search.
