Tweeting links with Follow Liker?

This is probably a dumb question, but how do you guys tweet links through FL without hitting the character limit?

I'm kind of assuming that Tweeting shortened URL's will raise a flag for Twitter, but I could be wrong.

It's an issue. I've moved to tweeting through Buffer instead.

I import all Tweets via CSV file, and it's OK. I'm not sure short link would be issue but other program have this option as well right ? (I mean Hootsuite, Buffer...)

Thanks for the input. Does buffer have proxy support? I'm using Nox when I have to manually post, but I can't copy paste a link into Nox, so it doesn't really solve this particular problem
