1and1 SUCKS. Dude, you are rolling in dough. If you HAVE to call home every time the prog loads up, GO GET A COLO server and have it call there so it never goes down.

Don't be stupid.

You should at least validate licenses for a period of 7 days or more after each successful call home, to avoid unexpected crap like this. I'm not too happy with this purchase lately and this isn't helping.

It would be different if it was a once a year thing, but this happens to you guys almost monthly. Don't be a douche, just fix it, it's an easy fix.

Don't use hostgator, don't use 1&1.

I've used bluhost for a bit and had no problems but not sure.

GVO has proven to be very solid. Great hosting service they have.

Apparently so. I'm loosing a lot of money because of this.

EDIT:: I know its the holidays, but I'm still working. In my business there are no holidays.

Have to say that tweet attacks support has always been good to me. User for at least a year and a half.

Any downtime you're experiencing at the moment is likely no longer than an interruption from twitter changing ts page or login formats which it does every so often, just part of the cost of doing business.

Fibre Channel SAN + SQL Server failover cluster + vmware ESX front ends on SSD's + multi homed internet in a datacenter with diesel generators and raised flooring for floods. I have a rack at Savvis in the same center as Yahoo.

This lack of foresight makes us question your abilities as a developer, and your commitment to your customer base.

Whatever it takes man, irregardless of time. I would *NEVER* let this happen to one of my clients.

Get this fixed. NOW. Or I will personally pay a team of coders to recreate your software, improve upon it, make it just distinctly different to get past IP laws, and then offer a service level agreement with it. I have ran dev teams before, architected mission critical infrastructure. I have the resources, know how, team, and commitment to my customer base to make this happen.

In fact I'm on a NDA with an upcoming social media startup funded by the Walton family - project managing the dev team.

You don't realize the impact this has on people. I can't post pics because of how fresh my account is. but I clear $2k/day/vertical. Will PM with proof anyone who requests.
