tweetadder with private proxies

Hey,
I'v got a crack of tweetadder from the downloads section, now I need It to work with my proxies, but when ever I get them in It says 'no good proxies' trust me the proxies are fine, Is there a particular way in which I have to list the proxies in the proxy uploader's option in tweet adder?
like for example : proxy:host:username:pass ? coz I'v tried this particular template and It doesn't work.

Really looking to get this piece of code work.

Please guys a piece of help :o

The best way I can offer you is to simply click "Download Fresh Proxy List" then "Export" that list, open it and then you will see how they are needed to be listed.

Example:xxx.xxx.x.xx:8080

If that doesn't work,,,heck if I know.

Did you get these proxies working? I also had no luck using private proxies in tweetadder.??
 
I don't think Tweet Adder allow private proxies, but I've not really tried.

For someone who has used it intensively for the last 6 months, I wouldn't worry about using your home IP or VPS.

I'm not convinced it's about the proxies you're using with Twitter accounts, it's the IP you used to create the account in the first place.

I have 40+ accounts all running off the same IP. Twitter limit the API call to 150 per hour, per IP, so change the settings to only update following/followers every 60-120 minutes or so, as that uses an API call.
 
Oh right, that's useful info. How aggressively to you operate your accounts though? I have roughly 10 accounts running at any time (I run some gigs on fiverr), and I work quite aggressively (selling 2k followers).

I am now using the free proxies that tweetadder downloads as I thought all the activity might look suspicious to twitter, but the proxies are slow and it takes alot of tries to log in.

I know tweetadder does allow private proxies, but I bought a few before and they went in ok, but could not perform any actions.
 
I unfollow after 7 days as I believe Twitter have an 'automated detector' which auto bans you if you unfollow X amount of accounts after following them too soon. So I play it safe with 7 days.

It's all about getting to 2000 followers as the great thing with Tweet Adder is the ratio option, so you don't keep hammering Twitter limits which you would with say, Tweet Attacks, which isn't as good as Tweet Adder, imo.
 
why need private proxy for it? I use the in-built proxy downloader and it works fine for me all the time. if login failed try login again...try 2 times and if can't login download fresh one and rinse repeat.

Yes that's what I do, but I find the tweetadder does sometimes crash, or my vps reboots, then having to log 10 accounts in takes me about 20 minutes using the process you describe, just me bring lazy I guess!! :)

Yes I agree though, tweetadder is excellent!

That happened to me and taking an age. Now they all load up straight away as I'm running them off the VPS ip.

Il try it then! So do you set follow ratio at 1:2 ? Il give it a go and cross fingers nothing gets banned? Who you using for vps? I'm using xsserver.eu seem good so far, except server seems to have restarted itself twice in the last 48 hours ...??

Follow ratio = 1.1:1 (10% more followers than following), but I set this when the followers is nearing 2,000. Until then, you'll just need to keep an eye on it.

Followers ratio = 1.05:1 which means if the ratio is say 1.09:1 it won't unfollow anybody until more following has been done.

I'm using XSserver.eu too on the 35$ monthly option. It's running Tweeter Adder + Scrapebox (a few instances) fine.
 
Thanks, very helpful! I'm on the $25 plan at mo, running only tweetadder, all is good so far. Moved here from jollyhosting which I didn't get on too well with.

Will go for bigger plan if things go well.
 
Great, switched all my accounts to run from my vps IP address, and just got 2 accounts banned - both belonging to customers! Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, everyone is going back on proxy now. F**k.

You can unban them in a few weeks. There is a workaround. GL

I know but it's embarrassing , what's the work around? Or do you just mean getting the suspension lifted?
