Tweet Adder wrong followers

Ok so i've been using Tweet Adder for geotargeting my followers. However it seems that the program makes me follow a lot of people way outside my target zip codes like in other countries. Who arent even tweeting the keywords i'm targetting because they aren't even tweeting english!!! Anyway, has this happened to anyone else? It's annoying. Is Tweet Adder using their service to sell followers to other people? Has this happened to anyone else?

I have tweet adder but recently stopped using Twitter for marketing so much. I'll mess around with it and see if I find anything like this.

Your ZIP code is probably being misinterpreted as a geo location coordinate. Because GEO coordinates are longer than 5 digits, a zip code is simply being found in the millions of users who insist on putting their exact geo location in their profile.

i always added a country after, but think i might try with the coordinates now, thanks for the tip.

i haven't had this problem, but find the same users show up each time in the search and it only gives back 200~ results.

I actually get a lot of people in the zip codes I choose also. It's just once in a while these Japanese guys and TeamFollowback seem to pop up randomly
