Tweet acc creator: confirm emails not working

I cannot for the life me get the 'confirm email' function to work on tweet attacks account creator.

I am using GMAIL aliases myname+1, myname+2 etc... and then attempting to confirm the email addresses using the preconfigured GMAIL option - the message is: "unable to find confirmation email" - I know the confirmation email is there in the inbox.
