Hi there.

Just a simple basic tutorial on how to set up multiple proxy profiles with firefox.

Why This Tutorial?
Because even though common knowledge for most some people don't know how to and I promised a couple guys I would write this.

Now obviously this is if you have like 10-20 (or whatever amount you want to do manually) proxies and you doing things manually otherwise you would be better off to use some bot like Jarvee to manage your accounts.

Let's Start
For this tutorial I will be using Firefox. I know there are some proxy switcher plugins for chrome but this method suits my workflow the best.

Setting Up Profiles

So install Firefox if you hadn't already and once the firefox shortcut is on your screen, right click it and press properties.

Under the tab Shortcut you will see after the target something like this: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe"

Now type behind it -p -no-remote so it looks like this "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p -no-remote and press Apply-OK pressing OK directly usually works fine too.

Now double click the Firefox shortcut and you will see something like this:

Click Create Profile>Next and put whatever name you want in there but don't uses spaces or weird symbols, for this TUT I made a profile name bhw, press Finish and then Exit.

Now rightclick the Firefox shortcut again and select create shortcut.

Now you see an other Firefox shortcut named firefox - Shortcut (2)

Right click it again>Properties and you will see this again "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p -no-remote

Now change the path to your profile name so it looks like this: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -p bhw -no-remote press Apply>OK

Rename the firefox - Shortcut (2) to whatever you want (right click>rename or 2 slow left clicks)

Once all of that is done double click the shortcut to open the browser.

Importing The Proxy
If you've done everything correctly the shortcut will open a complete new browser profile. Every add-on or setting you add in that browser will be unique to that profile.

Now to import the proxy click the hamburger menu and options.

Scroll down to Network Proxy and press settings.

This screen will popup, don't mind the numbers I just randomly put it there.

Select Manual proxy configuration and enter the proxy IP and behind Port the User port and press OK.

If all is set correctly every time you open your edited Browser or want to connect to the internet it will ask for your login data unless you ticked "Do not prompt for authentication if password is saved"

That's it.

I find this way pretty handy because each profile has it's own site shortcuts and cookies.

When it comes to addons that's up to you but I always install https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/happy-bonobo-disable-webrtc/ one on all profiles as JS can leak your real IP.

When it comes to proxies I usually use proxies from my own country closest to me unless I need to bypass GEO block or something.

Hope some of you will find it useful. As said, there are many methods but for this purpose it fits me best.

Thanks Billy, nice tutorial as usual. I will give this a try. :)

Even though I knew how to set the proxies on browser, I had no idea about the new profiles. Thank you for sharing this!
Is it similar for mobile/emulators?

Great to hear you find it useful. Mobile browsers unfortunately work totally different.

Newbie question sorry. What would these proxies be used for?

There are many reasons why one would use proxies,Nioxo uses em mostly to hide his real IP for beastial porn site but most use them for profiles on social media as you can only make a certain amount on your home IP until you get banned non-stop.

Well how about disabling web rtc as that will clearly will leak your real ip?

*This message contains sponsored content* I suggest using multi login app. Your method can get accounts banned pretty easily, if the website is using a basic footprint tracking. Same user agent, same configs , etc. (I was joking about the sponsored content btw :p)

I see it now. imo its easy to overlook and an important thing to do. I was skimming thru it and it didn't quite stand out.

It's also important not to skim through stuff, you might miss things :)

23 accounts like this, zero banned on fb, Twitter, IG.

I agree you could install user agent plugin but then again I didn't specify what you use it for :) Only how to make multiple profiles with proxies that isn't limited up to x amount of accounts before you need to pay for it.
