Not sure if its the right place, but yeah. This tutorial is for people who can't afford to pay for bots, or just trying out how twitter works.
Step 1: Get a twitter account, get a bio and a profile picture and preferred a common name, such as Allison etc. (Most people will only follow back when you have a profile pic) Be sure to have a relevant profile pic to your account, don't put a female name with a dude's face, vice versa.
Step 2: Find your targeted audience, be it teenagers, fandoms etc. There are followtrains (@TC_followback , @fandomfollow01) for almost everything, just rt a few of the follow train tweets and people will follow you.
Step 3: Repeat, at least 5-7 times a day, feel free the increase the amount of accounts to increase productivity. Be sure to spend only 2-5 minutes per account.
If you're the inpatient kind, just start to follow people at random, some will follow back while some will not. And from experience, pretty/handsome people will NOT follow back, so don't bother. There a limit 2k following limit if your account reached the limit just add some followers from addmefast or other alternatives, there are tons of bots still working on bhw!

step 4: Once you reach the ideal number of followers, convert the account to whatever you want, a quote account etc.
Please note that how fast you gain depends on how active you are, the timezone difference between you and your targeted audience, your targeted audience age range & stupidity.

Tweetdeck (https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ ) - Allow mass rt from your own accounts , just make an account on tweetdeck and register all your twitter accounts together. (At your own risk) (Owned by twitter)
Bluestack/Android(http://www.bluestacks.com/index.html) - Reduce the risk of getting banned from mass following or unfollowing. Just don't make it look like you're botting, make some interaction with other users etc etc.
