Tutorial on blogging please?

So I have done some searching for a good blogging tutorial and the most recent post I can find is from 2010.

I am looking for a good blogging tutorial that is up to date with Google's current algorithm. Basically I am looking for someone who has a good White Hat blog tutorial out there that I can get some basic pointers from and guidelines of what they have experienced in what drives organic traffic.

I currently have 8 blogs that I regularely post to and I have spent zero in advertising. Am I just a noob that no one pays attention to, or should I be concentrating on more Black Hat SEO to get my name out there?

My blogs are in very popular market niches including gaming, internet marketing, etc.

• Filter trash.
• Maximize keyword pool with clustered keywords
• Filter trash
• Look through search suggestions (there are great absolutely free tools for that like Serpstat or Answerthepublic)
• Look which questions are most frequently asked with your seed keywords (for that I use "Questions Only" filter in sg.serpstat.com)

All the SEO tutorials and methods applies for blogging. You have to figured out yourself what could bring traffic to your blog. In the meantime start posting on social media platforms, formus, comment in other blogs, etc..
