If you guys have seen my posts, you'll know how much I push how easy it is to make money offline. When I first got involved in IM in 2009, things were so easy online. Literally everything made money. Now it's a bit trickier due to more competition. Everyone wants to make money online. Introverts who don't like social interaction, people who can't deal with having a boss, people who want to travel, people who are too sick to work, everyone. Which is why if you're a healthy, confident individual who can deal with people, I suggest mixing your online marketing abilities with offline work.

Recently, thanks to over a decade of experience, I still find it easy to make money online but I couldn't imagine starting in this day, which is why I'm bringing a super easy way to make money offline with online marketing.

Gyms are closed.

What does this mean? Millions of people in nearly every country are without a gym and looking to make a gym at home, in their basement/garage/whatever.

Every passing day, gym goers are losing muscle when they're not training, becoming more and more desperate for a solution. What does that mean? Willing to pay more and more.

The method? Building and selling squat racks on classified sites.

Take a look.

What do you need?

- Power Drill
- Measuring Square
- Miter Saw (Alternative: Hand Saw)
- Xacto Knife and Brush for cleaning up holes

Personally I don't have a miter saw, but I have a grandfather, two uncles and a friend who each have one. None of them would have an issue with me showing up with a pickup truck full of lumber to make 100 cuts tomorrow.

If you don't have hands-on people in your family or friends, you can grab the saw on Amazon for a couple hundred bucks, but you should probably have someone teach you how to use it. Don't call me when you cut off your finger. I have one uncle and one grandfather who both lost a couple fingers from this saw. They are dangerous, even with 30 years of experience. Pay attention.

To test the market, I listed one for $1000 in my area, just to test the market in Canada. I used Kijiji, but you can use any classifieds site.

I quickly got a dozen messages with some offers and removed the ad. Okay so the method works.

A common complaint I'm sure I'll get is: "But I live in India and people don't have $500+ to spend on such thing"

Squat racks are expensive, no matter where you buy them, meaning you'll be able to sell them for a premium. I'm sure your cost of living is lower and your cost of materials is lower, so even selling it for a reduced price will yield you a substantial income compared to others in your country.

The one thing I can't speak for is the fitness culture in other countries. USA, Canada, UK, Australia, etc have a considerable amount of population who aspire to look like a Calvin Klein model. I don't know how many people prioritize their health and physical appearance in other countries, so it's up to you to know whether gyms are popular enough to make this work.

There are so many designs you can use, and other gym equipment you can make out of wood. If you're a welder, you have even more options. Most people took welding class in high school so it's just a matter of getting access.

The money is out there for those who want it. Get creative and get to work.

Godspeed and good luck.

That's what I call creative:) Consider hiring, and you could probably do even more, as employment right now is low.

This is some good content for beginners that have a lot of free time right now!

Did this when I was a teenager (in a different niche. There was no global pandemic at that time) and made some nice pocket change!

That's a good way to think out of the squat rack i mean out of the box !:D:D:D. There is another method for people in India or other places u can create a grocery website and you deliver groceries to people for a fee that's a good idea

SO creative
THANK YOU FOR THIS AMAZING INFORMATION . mixing up online and offline mix a good income
of cours not every one can do this method but we can have a big insperatiion

Put up facemasks & sanitizers on classifieds, Let's get the money rolling.
Great post, bud.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the props. I try to keep my creativity in tune by coming up with new ideas often. Personally have enough wild ideas for one person to handle so figured I'd pass this idea along.

Really nice idea, but just tried to search similar stuff in my country and was unable to find WODEEN squad racks, but I have found metal squad racks for like $400 so I am sure nobody would buy wooden racks for $800.

Read re-read the post, but I said it differs for different countries. So you might have to sell for $400, depending on the quality on the market. I'm sure for $400, the quality is subpar.

$1000+ gets you something like this: https://www.roguecanada.ca/rogue-rml-490-power-rack-color-3-0

Drop the excuses and go make money.

Great idea made. It can probably be done for loads of different equipment as well because I’ve noticed lots of different gym equipment is out of stock at the moment, confirming a) people are panic buying this type of stuff and b) there’s more demand than supply.

Absolutely. This can be twisted so many ways. You can work with wood or metal - or even concrete!

These atlas stones made in smaller sizes are made with concrete in a sphere mold then grinded to be smooth. YouTube has tutorials on this.

Guys, you dont need to be a carpenter to do this.
You need to post ads on facebook, craigslist, you just need to get orders.
Then you pay a carpenter to make them. Preferably find your carpenter first. Then start getting orders.

Very Brilliantly written plan.
Not knowing how long this lockdown is going to be, it is good to hedge your bets and diversify early.

This is the only item/ad i can accept and its corona driven.

Well even when quarantine is up, you will have a business here and while sales will drop a bit, it could turn into an evergreen business. You have the system and marketing in place. You might not be selling crazy amounts but surely you could pull an extra $50k/yr in your city from building and selling things like this. It's enjoyable too - better than sitting at a desk all day.

The atlas stones are really cool above. They are used in strongman competitions. The molds are expensive but cheap to make yourself. You can make a mold then make a stone, both super cheap and sell for a good price.
