Yes, it still works and you even need to verify the account.

I have tried almost every option. I swear this doesn't work. Made account on PC using VPN, tried both with email and US phone number. The moment I log in using my phone, it's all my regular country. Downloaded TikTok using VPN, no SIM card in the phone, logged it using VPN. Nothing. Still my country.

can you please recommend a seller/position that you bought from? there are many different sim-cards on ebay, but I don't know which ones will work in my country and which ones will not

Check out sim card for tiktok on ebay, worked for me
 
Ive never had to do all this but still get an American audience on most my vids

UPDATE : Actually this method works perfectly, but TikTok is being strict about the content being shared, so new accounts most of them will get shadowbanned as soon as you share your first CPA Video.

Maybe i'll try again with an Aged account and see.

I also had a SIM from Amazon, worked perfectly, but after 15 days the SIM expired and again, I see audience from my country.
How do you guys manage this?

This is the only way on phone.Over the Browser/Web you can use Bluestacks with USA gps and VPN nad then upload using Browser using VPN only but on browser you cant add soundseffects etc

Yes you can , I used genymotion and bluestacks but I think andy works too.I think you can only upload using genymotion , when you use bluestacks you get a blackscreen.Maybe other apk's can solve this idk, never tested.
