i use
2 - 3 headings H2, H3
two images ( one with kw alt text, another with random alt)
3 - 4 out links
2 internal and unreadable text, and i rank everytime.

I dont consider this guide as basic, I consider very useful for all (newbies and experts in writting).
 
nice post man, so many people are not aware or not using lsi keywords in their content, even today. I'm glad keyword stuffing is a thing of the past so content can read well and also rank well
