Why would you write the postback data to a txt file instead of a database?

The whole point of postback is to let your site know if a user has completed an offer. You then use that data to unlock something, add points, etc. Querying a database is way faster than parsing a txt file.

If all your are doing is putting the info in a txt file, you might as well just go to the 'Statistics' section of your cpa network and see the info there

    thanks for your tut..
but your tutorial only copy postback data to your host ( report )
better if you show how to put on DB and procesing like cookiemons said.. because you use php..
or if you don't have DB server, write as session or cookies..
if using jekyll or similar, rewrite the data and print as json files
    sorry if i'm wrong..

I compile my data on my own and use it to pinpoint my traffic and conversions. That's where the postback file comes in handy. I can paste it in Excel and see which users, coming from which SUBIDS, converted.

I don't think my CPA network shows the IP or the EXACT TIME.
