[TUT] Make Amazon Sites That Convert

Ms LBrown,
I just love your method and planning to make lots of amazon sites. Though I have a question:
You said that now you mostly choose keywords with less than 1000 searches a month. Can you give me a rough estimation, how much this kind of site will earn in a month ( or how many sales a month as commission vary according to product )? I understand that it will vary from site to site but still a rough estimation from your experience.

Never mind, I got it. Thanks

Mikie,
California's been back for a while now. I just re-activated my account.

I just cant see how anyone can make a living from Amazon sales and commissions. You would need hundreds of sites. Are they still not accepting CA residence?

You can expect a minimum of $20 for each 1000 searches when you get to #1. There are a lot of variables that make that figure go higher. I had one site where GAKT said there were 390 local searches but I was making $200 per month with it for a while.

It's just like making a living from Adsense but with less risk of being banned. You can work with a few big sites or a ton of little sites or a combination.

Yes, they reinstated California residents.

Thanks for the tut, bookmarked it and will be trying it.

Thanks a lot for your reply LBrown. It was really helpful.
How did the last EMD update treat you as you mostly take EMD as domain names?

This offer is really attractive. And i would like to get involved in this. So please give me proper information about how can i do this.

Crazy Good Tools is not free. They have a 14 day free trial. I don't use the plugin though, just the online tool. They cut off access to the online tool after 14 day... not sure how that works with the plugin.

Hopefully Ms Brown will be willing to answer that after she has waited for the 'byte dust' to settle the SERPs

Sorry, didn't see this one. I saw about 30% of my EMDs take a hit of some sort. EMDs are not the only thing I do but they are the only domains I buy. Panda 2.6 was the most devastating update for me obliterating 40% of my income. This EMD update didn't come close to that. I'm guessing it will hit my EMD sales income much harder than it will hit my SEO income.

Thans for helping to build Amazon site, will see how it converts now

Thank you very much! I read through all the pages here, but I just need a little clarification.

So obviously it's going to be very hard to outrank the major sites on google for a keyword like "video games". So would you try to rank for a keyword with < 1000 searches like "cheap discounted video games", assuming this keyword exists?

Also if you wanted to make a niche site revolving around a certain niche such as video games, you would have one EMD with a sidebar that has different pages and each is optimized for different keywords (ie., "super cheap games", "action video games", "role playing games" etc.) correct?

Please excuse my noobiness, I am a noob. I tried doing a little IM with no prior experience and it hasn't really been going well. I hope to make this my successful second attempt!

Thanks again!!!

Essentially, yes, but the video game niche blows IMO.

You can do it that way. Just be sure to check your keyword density on your homepage because a lot of internal links like that on the sidebar can bring up your density without you noticing. You can easily combat this by writing a super long article.
